The Official Word on TG...
This exquisite spiced ale, released annually and brewed with the addition of three spices and organic clover honey from Central Otago is bottle-conditioned for five months prior to release on March 6th every year. Cinnamon and nutmeg notes are evident in the aroma and on the palette with the combination of spices evoking flavours reminiscent of hot-cross buns.
There's a Channel 9 (Dunedin TV) news item here showing the Taieri George being brewed back in January, and a Marlborough Express item here.
Serve 8-10° C. [At Ashore we think this recommendation is a bit too cold... autumn room temperature is fine.]
Style: Spice Ale.
ABV 6.8 %
