Wild Hibiscus Flowers in Syrup 1.1kg Catering Jar


These really are lovely!...

A large 1.1kg jar containing 50 hibiscus flowers in syrup - suitable for weddings and similar occasions.
Simply place a whole Wild Hibiscus Flower bud in the bottom of a champagne flute, pour in some of the syrup out of the jar and fill with bubbly.   All the bubbles from your sparkling wine stream off and open the flower.   You can eat the flower if you want as well (and eveyone does!), it has a delicious raspberry and rhubarb flavour. 

For a non-alcoholic alternative, you can use the Hibiscus Buds with lemonade, tonic or sparkling water.

Wild Hibiscus Buds Flowers in SyrupWild Hibiscus Flowers in Syrup are made by a family-owned and operated business in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, Australia.  Hibiscus growers (predominantly from Queensland) produce and hand pick the crops of flowers, 25 percent of which are certified organic.  The fresh flowers buds are individually picked, deseeded, cleaned and packed into jars entirely by hand in the tiny village of Kurrajong.  Hibiscus flowers grow in several different shapes, so they are placed in predetermined positions in the jar according to shape, to ensure that none are squashed.  We have been stockists of these delightful flowers since the day we opened in 2007!
