Delivery Charges

The charges shown below are our standard shipping charges and often we charge less than the amount shown.  This is done by us when we process your card details, so it won't be shown at the checkout stage. 

We actively try to minimise your freight charge.

$4.00 Auckland Region (from Orewa to Pokeno, but Excluding Rural Areas & Islands) [AK]

Reasonable_Courier_Charges$6.00 Rest of the North Island: cities & main towns [NI]

$8.00 North Island: Rural Delivery, rural areas, small remote towns & Waiheke Island [RD]

$8.00 South Island: cities & main towns [SI]

$10.00 South Island: Rural Delivery & small remote towns. Also other NZ islands [SR]

These are are standard charges - for small orders we can usually send your purchases for less, and we will reduce the amount we charge to your card.  Check with us first, if you want to know for sure just how small your freight charge will be.

Some specific items we sell have special cheap delivery prices, if all you are ordering is that item.  No matter how many, that's all you'll have to pay.  Details are shown on the relevant product page, and we will over-ride the standard delivery charge shown at checkout with the cheaper price.

Also bear in mind that sending one product to you will usually cost the same as sending a few.  So, if you've found the item you're looking for it's probably worth either stocking up or perusing our cyber shelves to see if there's anything else you'd like to throw in.

One thing is for sure - we won’t charge you more than the standard charges shown above (unless it’s a very very unusual situation - such as we've never had so far! - but we’d check with you first anyway). 

All our delivery charges are less than $10.


Shipping Information

We use courier services to deliver your purchases direct to the delivery address you have specified. The courier will not deliver without receiving a proof of acceptance from the receiver. Courier charges are stated in the checkout process, though we reserve the right to alter these. We will inform you if this is necessary, and of course you can cancel your order at that stage with no charge to you. This is a very very rare occurrence.

If the item is in stock then the delivery will normally be next day or the one after that. On the rare occasions when you have ordered something which is out of stock, then delivery is usually 3-5 days. We will let you know if this is the case, and of course you can cancel or alter your order at that time. We will deliver to a PO BOX if at all possible... there is a strict size limit which comes into play here, and we will contact you if that's relevant to your order.  We normally only deliver to addresses in New Zealand, but overseas delivery may be possible. Just ask... we do increasingly find ourselves sending things to kiwis overseas who really are missing a specific special something. (Both of us have spent most of our adult lives away from our respective home countries, so we know how it can be!)   


Returns

Top Shop  Double Finalist - Customer Service & Start-up BusinessAny item that you are not happy with must be returned within 10 days.  The item must be undamaged and must reach us in its original condition and in its original packaging. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.  If the goods are faulty or incorrectly shipped you need to notify us within 10 days and we will send a pre-paid courier pack in which you can return the goods.  Once you have returned the goods you can get a refund or a credit.  We will either refund you by the same method in which you paid, or apply a credit to your account.
